Details:
Tonight I could see the skies were brightening and I grabbed my gear and headed out. The conditions were not great with lots of haze and clouds rolling in. The whole sky was bright enough to cast weak shadows and I could see there was aurora activity directly overhead through the haze and the photographs confirmed this.
