Details:
Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS) imaged on July 5, 2025, with an estimated brightness of magnitude 15 and a small tail only 1 arcminute long. Although it still appears distant and faint, it could become the next bright comet if it maintains its current activity level and does not disintegrate during its approach to the Sun. It might become visible with binoculars by late October, reaching a brightness of magnitude 7.5. TS-Photon 8" f/3.7, Atik 383L+, Exp=35 min, FOV=49x37'(crop), N:Up E:Left. OAV, Valencia (Spain)
