Details:
This H-alpha image captures a towering solar prominence (~80,000 km tall) dancing at the Sun's limb. The delicate magnetic arches and plasma threads reveal the violent beauty of our star's atmosphere. Shot with Lunt LS60T H-alpha + B600 modified 80/600 and ASI224MC+Irc processed with AutoStakkert and Photoshop
