Details:
Between one hope and another of spotting it among the clouds, I managed to capture comet C/2024 G3 (Atlas) the day after its perihelion, at 12:45 PM, when it was only 6° away from the Sun. With a magnitude of about -2.0, it wasn’t immediately visible in the shots when viewed on the camera display. Once at home, I increased the contrast and sharpness, finding it in several shots within the Sun's diffused light. I then performed stacking on Siril and processed everything in Photoshop. Canon EOS 70D, ISO 100, f/14, 1/800 sec exposure, 190 mm focal length.
