Comet C/2023 A3 on the evening of 2024 December 17 0144UT was magnitude 9.3, the tail is now noticeably shorter viewed from Earth as the comet is fading rather slowly now, maybe we are observing more of the comet coma and tail complex overlapping as seen from Earth.
