Yesterday evening I saw the impressive comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS for the first time! Despite the bright moonlight, it was still easy to see with the naked eye using slightly indirect view. Even the tail shimmers through the cirrus clouds, which fortunately always kept a good distance from the comet's head... Unfortunately we've had extremely bad weather over the last few days and weeks, and the great aurora borealis on the night of October 10th to 11th was not visible for a single minute over Saxony... But there was a lot of rain... Canon EOS 6D Mark I + Canon EF 1.8/50 STM, (F3.2), ISO 1600, Composit 35 x 8s
