Details:
A is for ATLAS! It is also for Aggies, our Alma-mater, also known as Colorado State University. Went out on the evening of 13 Oct 2024 thinking we were going further east of the city. Instead we drove up onto the top of a parking garage on the south side of campus, in the center of town, and waited for our eyes to adjust. Even with all of the city lights, we could make out the comet with unaided eyes.
Time was roughly around 1900h. Shot using Canon 5Dmk3.
First shot: 70mm, f/6.3, 4sec, ISO 2000
Second shot: 135mm, f/8, 6sec, ISO 2000
It looks like you can see a bit of the anti-tail forming in the second shot.
