Details:
A surprise guest in today's photos of the comet. I noticed a fuzzy looking object in the extension of the comet's tail in all the photos. After consulting the sky maps it turns out to be the globular cluster M5 in the Serpens constellation. This is a very dense cluster containing about a hundred thousand stars. It is more than 24,460 light years away from us. Its magnitude is 5.7, at the limit of visibility to the naked eye. The presence of an anti-tail can be seen in the other photos of the comet.
