Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) on the morning of 2024 September 26 was magnitude G=3.6 as calculated from 9x2 second images in an aperture diameter of 5'. The comet was at an altitude of 8.2 degrees rising above the Catalina Mountains and the Sun was 8 degrees below the horizon at 1240UT. The image shows the white comet on the right and then an attempt to show the comets true color on the left. The 13 image gif (RGB each 2s) shows the comet rising at 1240UT until 2 second images could no longer be taken due to saturation at 1243UT.
