EXIF: Nikon D750 5s f/1.8 ISO 800 85 mm Lightroom Classic 13 09/25/2024 04:54 AM Sousas, Campinas, SP C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) is an Oort cloud comet discovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory on January 9, 2023, and independently found by ATLAS South Africa on February 22, 2023. The comet will pass perihelion at a distance of 0.39 AU (58 million km) on September 27, 2024, when it may become visible to the naked eye.
