I was out hunting Perseid meteors and doing some astrophotography when I happened to look to the north and saw a bright cloud close to the horizon. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were noctilucent clouds. I quickly took some pictures before they faded. The display only lasted from 02:05 to 02:22 UT but it was amazing to see NLCs this late in the season!
