Details:
A nice display of noctilucent clouds in the night of 23 to 24 June 2024. Visibility started around 23:00 hours local time (UT+2), with a large field of patches of NLC from WNW to NE. The clouds were very dynamic and drifted westwards. By 23:45 the field had broken up in two parts. The image shows part of the eastern cloud at exactly midnight, looking just right of north. From about 01:00 on a field of bands became visible at the northern horizon and remained so till dawn (03:00) having extended to the NE.
