Details:
I drove about half an hour north of my home in Frankfort, Ky., into rural northern Franklin County, hoping for a view of the Northern Lights. I was not disappointed! They began while the moon was still up! ... and they showed red, pink, purple, and green colors. Finest auroral display I have ever seen!
