Details:
The aurora as seen in central Alabama. It was a stunning event! This was my first time seeing an aurora, and I didn't have to drive north to see them. The aurora were straight overhead at some points and they would dash and flicker as well. Something I definitely didn't expect! I also didn't expect to see color, almost the whole sky had a red glow to it, sometimes you could see green to the north.
