Details:
Looked up at 11pm and auroral streamers were overhead/to the South, and we're at latitude 54 degrees in a housing development! Drove 10 minutes to a country lane for a better view. Initially, most of the display was to the South with a clear auroral corona and spectacular streamers. But later auroral emission was seen to the North as well. The pinks and reds were much more prominent by eye than the greens.
