Finally the KP was so high that we could also see visual northern lights in Germany! At first I only saw a red column, then it turned slightly green, then came "curtains" in green! Until then, the northern lights were only photographic. But then they also appeared visually! It was wonderful! They weren't nearly as bright as in Norway (I've already seen them), but they were visible as light rays in the sky and were of course even stronger in the photos. I exposed for 4 seconds at ISO 100 and aperture 3.5 with my Canon and Tamron lenses.
