What a crazy show !!! This is the view from Altai, Xinjiang, China, 47 degree North. The (G4-class) geomagnetic storm appears at 2 AM in the Beijing time. The view is amazing. I can see half of the sky was painted red by my naked eye. a dozen of white pillars shine among the auroras. I can also see the green and purple aurora. The SAR appears in the southern sky. It's the strongest aurora show in the last 20 years ! Crazy !
