Without disturbing none other than Carrington's sunspot, I would like to point out that the less famous AR2192 which appeared in Cycle 24, here on 22 October 2014, was far more conspicuous than the equally notable AR3664. For this comparison, two shots taken with the same 127ED f/9 refractor, but much better transparency and seeing in 2014.
