Details:
After go to the northern skies, this is the first image I've managed to capture of comet C/2021 S3 (PANSTARRS) from my observatory. Taken on April 10, 2024, the comet is already moving away and has weakeneded to magnitude 10.7, as measured in these shots. Crossing a very dense region of the Milky Way in the constellation of Cygnus complicates the view of its tail and the processing of the final image, especially since the night wasn't optimal and high clouds were circulating during the capture. Nevertheless, I attempted to extract what I could and document the comet. Telescope TS-Photon 8" N f/3.6 Mount SkyWatcher EQ6R-Pro Camera Atik 383L+ Exposure 36 min. (L=33x60 bin1 + RGB=1x60 bin2) Processed with PixInsight From Vallés, Valencia (Spain)
