Details:
I could not get to a place to image the Total Eclipse. So 2nd best thing was to try an image the 90% Partial Solar Eclipse on 04-08-24 from my Manorville, NY Observatory. The weather was overcast most of the time with light to heavy clouds and some little breaks of clear sky. I was lucky to get this image at 90% coverage of the Sun by the Moon. I was moved by the Moons slow but powerful movent as the both passed each other as to say it time to put on a GREAT SHOW. I found the moment to feel very spiritual when looking at it. I read that "We All Are Made Of Stardust". That sounds "Cosmically Kool To Me". My imaging setup was the Lunt Solar Telescope LS100T Ha with the ZWO ASI1600MM Pro Cooled Monochrome Astronomy Camera I added a 1.6 x Ballow in the imaging train. The tracking mount was the Astro-Physics GTO-1600 Mount. Kind Regards To ALL 🙂
