Details:
The comet was very low in the sky and I tried doing some simple imaging from my upstairs deck with my Canon 6D MKII DSLR and a Canon 400mm telephoto lens and tracking mount. This is a single image that shows what looks like a possible disconnect event. I am not an expert in photographing comets. The comet was easily visible to the naked eye in the dark skies in my location.
