Details:
The other night, aurora active was low, so I switched gears and concentrated on the comet. Saw that it lined up pretty nice with Mt. Denali in Alaska, so defined to give that a try. What a wonderful sight to behold! This is a 200mm frame. So you see the top of Denali with a thin layer of clouds. This created such a dreamy atmosphere, I couldn't have asked for anything better! Also, this was done with a nearly 40% moon - so while the comet details are muted a bit, the light on the clouds and mountains just made my night!
