Hi Tony, thanks for your update today regarding SARs. I didn't know what I|had on camera until I seen your update. After STEVE faded we noticed on camera a vivid red/magenta beam of light like a fanning laser extend across the entire sky from west to east, at times we could see it with the naked eye as a slanted line near the milky way then passing overhead near Jupiter and in proximity to the Gegenschein, then all the way down into the eastern sky. These images are super wide 15mm wide on full frame showing this entire area from west to east, just as the moon was rising too. What a sight, STEVE AND SARS all on the same night! if this is what we are getting now then this solar maximum is going to be very interesting. Canon 5D Mark IV with 15mmm F/2.8 lens.
