Details:
I was observing the aurora and checking my camera images when I realised that I'd caught the STEVE phenomenon. It was just visible with the naked eye at first but after a few minutes brightened significantly. It became visible from the north west to the south east, arcing almost overhead. It was very bright and looked spectacular, especially crossing through the Summer Triangle asterism. I'd never seen it before and to see it so bright with the naked eye was unbelievable.
