Details:
It was extremely dim at first, appearing as a dim green blob or clouds to the north, but after ten minutes of waiting a few extremely bright filaments appeared to shoot straight out of the blob. They were very tall. Only lasted maybe twenty minutes before dying back down to a barely visible green blob in the north.
