Details:
Due to the fog in the area I had to find a high point above the valley floor. The sky literally exploded with an intense aurora at around 0715 UTC. The movement was incredible fast and I had to reduce the shutter speed to 3 sec du to the intensity of the aurora. This was a very unique aurora due to the solar wind speed of 330 km/s, one would hardly expect the aurora to go coronal but it did. There were several out burst of auroral beads, which I have never seen before, and lastly the shapes in the aurora were quite odd.
