Details:
I was kinda of halfway watching my security camera since there was a small chance of some incoming auroral activity and about 2:50 AM I noticed some color on my security camera. It faded in and out for a few minutes so I took a 5 minute run out of town to a darker spot and set up the tripod to see if there was anything left. It was already gone from my camera before I got out there but I lucked out, it didn't last long but it was visible in east central Kansas. It was a much better display before I got there because in spite of this capture at this same time it was not visible on camera anymore. I am including a quick screen from the little bit of color I seen that sent me out for this picture. Nothing great, it was fading fast but it made it to visibility in Kansas and was better than that before i got there if even only for a few minutes.
