I think you are going a bit off the edge. It has been acknowledged that Vincent van Gogh was influenced by Hokusai and his woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa [1831]. Maybe you should investigate this work to find out if the world famous Japonese artist was inspired by Earth's magnetosphere.
