Details:
Under clear but moonlit skies, Starlink - 107 (G6-18) train passed over Cheyenne, WY ~ 8:10PM. This was the 3rd night after it was launched and the train of satellites were considerably spaced from one another since 24 and 48 hours earlier. Although the satellites appear to be in exactly the same orbit as one follows the other (left), when recording still images at 2 second intervals and stacking and lightening in PhotoShop 142 x 1/8s, the resulting image clearly reveals the orbits are slightly different. The color changes as the satellites rise from the horizon might be due to atmospherics, but the blueish tint when high in the sky has been recorded consistently. Tech specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 35mm @ f/2, iso 6400, exp 1/8s. Satellites estimate magnitude was 2.3.
