Details:
The dimmer of the two time-lapses represents a seventy-minute period just after astronomical twilight (0100 UT) when plasma density fell off a cliff. Only the slightest glow was seen naked-eye over the treeline.
The brighter time-lapse represents a ten-minute period shortly before local midnight (0400 UT). Very active movements were seen naked-eye, with dim pillars and many flashy waves appearing at the horizon and quickly flying overhead, much too fast to capture in images other than blur.
A nice show, though not quite as spectacular as last March and April, and I'm too tired to continue watching.
