Details:
Comet /2023 P1 two days before perihelion at an altitude of less than 1 degree from 2100m on La Palma. We had lots of cirrus at sunset which caused problems but the faint tail is visible. It difficult to estimate the comet's magnitude but it is the only object visible at that altitude so must be pretty bright.
