Details:
Had wondered if going from .8A to .5A bandpass would really show up, and finally, after six months of back ordering, got the Lunt DS 60 attachment. Neat candy apple red, adds about four inches and a pound to my Lunt 60, but the Virtuoso mount had no issues. Does it really enhance...yes, but whether it is worth $1,700 extra is certainly debatable. Found it easier to focus whole sun's disk, and definitely more contrast to details. Also a Dwarf II IR shot with Dwarflabs ND5 filters, 1/3200" IR PASS. Large spot on right is AR3386, with AR 3384 at lower right heading over to dark side. AT bottom, AR 2288-90 are very intricate with higher resoution DS, and on lower left limb. new AR awaits a number and has a fine filaprom extending back into space.
