Details:
My husband, my Milky Way photography buddy Felicia and I were up at Minaret Vista (Mammoth Lakes, CA), waiting for the Milky Way to be visible over Mammoth Mountain when we noticed the rocket launch. After the rocket disappeared from view, we started to pick up the red glow in our images. This frame was taken at 9:25 pm PDT, 38 minutes before the end of astronomical twilight. Falcon 9 launched at 9:09 pm.
