0014 BST 18/07/2023 51.3N 1.1E I had setup my camera during the night to try and capture some diffuse aurora as I had seen on webcams that it had been spotted from the Alps although I doubted it would ever transpire. To my amazement, I looked through the images this morning and could see some faint diffuse aurora through the light pollution as well as airglow. The Bz values were rather weak with -2 persisting throughout the period that this picture was taken so it is quite a feat for this to even be photographed although shows the importance of observations
