These images show a near vertical Southern Hemisphere alignment of Mars, Venus and the two-day old Waxing Crescent Moon descending above receding volcanic sunset glow behind Transmitter Hill in Mutare between 5.38 and 6.13 pm on the June Solstice. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset and manual exposure modes.
