Details:
Got lucky capturing the start of this C6 flare. I was taking 29-second long videos which is normally short enough for capturing images so there is no blur from moving features on the sun. But this flare moved so fast I had to divide up my single 29-second video into four 350 frame increments - about 7 seconds each. So the whole sequence here is just 29 seconds. Lunt LS80 double stack, ASI 178MM, Autostakkert 3, Registax 6. Best 150 of 350 frames for each of the four final frames. Hope to eventually put a full time lapse together of the rest of this flare when I have time.
