Details:
Canon EOS 1200D. Composite of 60 frames from 19:45 to 20:45 UT. Venus is added from every second frame. I was made a composite picture of setting Venus in May 14, 2015. The picture was published on SpaceWeather site on May 21 that year. Now, after 8 years I made a picture of the same scene presented here. 5 sidereal periods of Venus lasts almost equal as 8 sidereal periods of Earth. Therefore Venus comes on the same place according to stars and horizon, as vell, after 8-yers period. I have obtained good frames in May 8, 6 day before the 8-years period But stars are still about 6 degrees eastern according to picture from 2015. Weather allows to make second set of frames in May 15, 2023 but at unwell sky condition.
