Details:
I observed the eclipse on Ah Chong Island in the Montebellos with 14 other people. An uninhabited islet and not another person in sight. The eclipse was a beautiful 63 seconds under nearly perfect conditions. Now days later the photos captured during those seconds still occupy much time to process. The images presented show a detailed image of the activity on the Sun's surface at that moment from a stack of 27 images, the diamond ring with a lens flare for sparkle, a wide angle view showing Jupiter above and Venus below the eclipsed Sun, and thermal imagery of the scene using a FLIR camera that shows a slight cooling. The eclipse was too short for significant cooling but what little there was could be documented with the FLIR camera.
