The Aurora Australis was already under way after sunset on 24 April 2023 several hundred kilometres south of Tasmania. These were barely visible to the eye, but easily seen by the camera. The red glow was seen from the high altitude position of the aurora, but the low altitude green glow was just visible above the horizon. Time sequence shots of 234 photos were taken between 8.30-10.00pm local time (10.30-12.30UT). Camera settings: Canon 80D, ISO 3200, 20mm, f/5.6, 20sec exposure
