Details:
Caught my first glimpse of Mercury in 2023 tonight at about 2050hrs..Picked it out using my Helios Starfield wide field 2x40 binoculars.Once you know where to look it was just naked eye in the residual sunlight.Venus bright plus Uranus is somewhere between them too.Mercury is just to the right of the chimney in one picture.
