PROTON ARC OVER THE HEART OF A 75 MILLION YEAR LIMESTONE MOUNTAIN. A few days ago I spontaneously decided to drive 5 hours to the Dark Sky Park by the Møns Klint. That day it was the only area in entire Denmark with clear skies, so my first thought was to try capturing Aurora. At the same time, it was the right next day after the largest landslide registered for the past 27 years - hundreds of thousands of tonns chalk collapsed down into the sea! Here is a photograph taken right in the middle of the collapsed mountain with a visible Proton Arc, still remaining after the G4 Auroral storm. Don't try this at home!
