Details:
A brief but bright period of activity in the skies above Lake Ellesmere, Canterbury, NZ. A strong glow persisted for an hour or so on the southern horizon with occasional periods of bright rays extending upwards. This is a 4-image panoramic shot made using a 40mm lens, f/1.4, 6s, ISO 6400. Recorded at 23:14 NZDT/10:14 UTC on 15 March 2023.
