03/01/2023 – Great conjunction of Venus and Jupiter… Welcome March! Fantastic, but freezing cold winter weather at the Great Conjunction of the brightest and the largest planet in our solar system. Venus and Jupiter were 40.8' (arc minutes) apart. Taken on the Lerchenberg hill near Börnchen/Saxony. The moon, slightly more than half illuminated, brightened the landscape pleasantly… Canon EOS 6D + Canon EF 1.8/50 STM (F5), ISO 200, 5s, 18:43 Uhr CET
