Details:
A lunar halo surrounds the moon just before it sets into Lake Michigan with the Northern Lights from Esch Road Beach early this morning. If you look closely you can see faint sun dogs to the left and right of the halo. 2-27-23 at 1:19am Lady Aurora danced last night/into this morning and it was absolutely insane! My mind is still blown and choosing which image to post first out of 800+ images is quite the task! I also know it was a particularly great display, because most of my feed is filled with phenomenal images from all over. Single image shot with Canon R6, Sigma Art 14mm with EF-R mount adapter, 20 second ss, f/2.2, ISO 640, Benro Tripod
