Details:
Two lights in the early evening Venus is back in the evening sky. It shines now in February after sunset already in the evening twilight deep in the western sky. Venus is accompanied by Jupiter of the same brightness, which is slowly ending its evening visibility and is also still above the southwestern horizon. Both planets will move closer and closer together until March. After weeks of bad weather, Jupiter and Venus stand in the clear dusk above a snow-covered, moonlit landscape in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park in this image from the evening of January 29, 2023.
