A 74.5% illuminated gibbous moon passes in front of Mars. The occultation as shown here is a composite of photographs recorded every 40 seconds. Nikon Z9 with 500mm lens, f9 ISO 500 at 1/1000 sec shutter speed. Manually aligned and composited in Photoshop.
