Something very interesting happened with sunspot AR3190, since it appeared, the news of its large size spread quickly through social networks and many people were excited about its observation. I was able to see hundreds of photos every day, some taken with sophisticated telescopes, but many others with very simple equipment. I think this new solar cycle is going to be very exciting, the notable increase in activity indicates this, and as the information is closer than ever to the general public, we will surely see many more people interested in what is happening with our star. Rain is forecast for tomorrow in the region where I live, so I decided to take this photo of AR3190 very close to the southwest limb today as a farewell. I was able to record its evolution from January 14, and accompany it on its journey through the surface of the sun. Goodbye AR3190! To take this picture I used a Sky Watcher Maksutov 180 telescope, a Baader astrosolar film, a Powermate 2X, a Player One Photosphere filter, and a Player One Apollo-M camera.
