Details:
AR3190 was visible to the naked eye (with proper eye protection). The image was taken with a 228mm F9 refractor fitted with Baader 3.8 ND Solar film and a continuum filter and ZWO asi174mm video camera. The solar granulation and details in the sunspot penumbra require high magnification and good seeing conditions to capture.
