An amazing thing happened while viewing sunspots on the morning of 11/23/2022. After a great night of observing and imaging in Artemas, PA, the next morning I put my "white-light" solar filter on my 5" f8 Astro Physics refractor. Instead of breaking out my imaging setup, I decided to take a few pictures with my Apple IPhone14. Although, I could not see this prominence while viewing through the eyepiece, the IPhone14 camera picked it up. I was shocked and amazed. I called my colleague over to ensure, I was just not seeing things. The white-light solar imaged highlighted on Spaceweather.com inspired me to submit this image.
