Details:
On the morning of this Monday, December 19, despite the poor seeing, I decided to photograph the new sunspots that appeared in the northeast limb of the sun. In the photograph we can see the long stretch of sunspots that extend over the solar photosphere. Actually this chain of sunspots is composed of two separate active regions. Initially designated AR3169, the posterior section was later considered to be magnetically independent from the main group of spots and designated AR 3171. To take this picture I used a Sky Watcher Maksutov 180 telescope with a Baader film filter, a Player One Photosphere filter and a ZWO 174MM camera.
